Solar Gard® external (SentinelTM) solar films up to 4 mil

This EPD describes the environmental impact of 1 m² of installed Solar Window Film for external application up to 4 mil. These products have a warranty period of 10 years for application on vertical glass surfaces. Outside Europe (Middle East, India and Africa) the warranty period is 5 years. The EPD covers 11 external solar films and 1 external clear safety film. The reference product for the group of products covered in this EPD is Solar Gard SENTINEL PLUS Silver 20.

SENTINEL PLUS Silver 20 has a total solar energy rejection (TSER) of 82% on single glass and 86% on an insulated glass unit (IGU) consisting of 2 standard clear panes. The Infrared Energy rejected (IRER) is 87% on single clear glass.

All products meet Class A+ (Volatile Organic Compounds – VOC) tested according to EN ISO 16000 2,3 (2011) and 5,6 (2012) and 13238B-s1, d0 (Reaction to fire - European Construction Products Directive/EN SBI 13238).
