Plasticizing admixtures for concrete

Plasticizing admixtures for concrete which comply with the general requirements of EN934-1:2008 and the additional requirements of EN934-2:2009+A1:2012, Table 2.

Admixtures are chemical materials added during the mixing process of concrete in a quantity not normally exceeding 5% by mass of the cement content of the concrete to modify the properties of the mix in the fresh and/or hardened state.

A water reducing/plasticizing admixture is an admixture which without affecting the consistency, permits a reduction in the water content of a given concrete mix, or which, without affecting the water content increases the slump/flow or produces both effects simultaneously.
