Summer Hours: Temporary Changes in Secretariat Operations

During July and August, Secretariat of the International EPD System will operate with limited capacity. This will result temporarily in longer response and processing time, impacting customer support, EPD publication, and pre-verified tool application services.

As the summer season begins, the Secretariat of the International EPD System, based in Sweden, will follow a reduced operational schedule in accordance with the holiday policy of our parent organisation, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.

Between July and August, the Secretariat will take turns to rest and recharge, helping to return with renewed energy to continue providing high-quality service. During this period, we ask for your understanding regarding the following temporary changes:

  • Extended Customer Support Handling: Response times to general inquiries may extend up to 7 working days. More complex requests may require additional time.
  • Extended Publication Timeframes: The processing and publication of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) may take up to 10 working days during this period.

  • Pause on Pre-verified Tool Applications: The application process for new pre-verified tools will be temporarily closed and will reopen at the end of the summer period.

The Secretariat appreciates your understanding and patience and support during this time. For urgent matters, we kindly encourage early contact with the Secretariat to ensure timely assistance ahead of the holiday period.
