EPD International and Habitech Enter Strategic Collaboration on LCA, EPD, and Sustainable Transformation

EPD International AB and Habitech have signed an MoU to collaborate on advancing LCA, EPDs, and sustainable transition in the built environment. The partnership focuses on knowledge development and data-driven solutions to support decarbonisation and circularity.

EPD International AB, owner and programme operator of the International EPD System, and Habitech, through its GREENMAP programme, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a framework for strategic collaboration.

This collaboration is driven by a shared ambition to accelerate capacity building in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), while supporting industrial and supply chain decarbonisation, circularity, and the practical implementation of sustainability solutions within the built environment.

The MoU provides a foundation for exploring joint initiatives focused on knowledge development, data-driven sustainability solutions, and impact-oriented applications.

The cooperation is guided by key principles, including non-exclusivity, transparency, quality, responsible data use, neutrality, and fair competition. This collaboration is formalised through a non-binding MoU, and does not constitute exclusivity or any commercial commitment by either party. The MoU entered into force on 23 March 2026 and will remain valid for a period of 24 months.
